Soon after giving birth to her third child in March 2025, she hit the studio to record and release “WOMAN”. The double single was her first release in over a decade and has been received warmly with airplay and adds on Australian community radio and spotted by Neumann Mic company in Berlin, who’s collaboration garnered her over 17k views on Instagram.

Known for her soulful vocals and honest writing, Ash cut her teeth sneaking into pubs for open mic nights and playing small gigs between Canberra and Sydney. She soon earned solo spots on major festival stages including Bluesfest Byron Bay, Fuji Rock Festival (Japan), Falls Festival, and Port Fairy Folk Festival; support slots with the likes of Snow Patrol (UK), James Morrison (UK), Luka Bloom (IRE), Joan Armatrading (UK), Michael Franti (USA) and Ian Moss.

In recent years she has toured extensively as one half of the folk-rock duo Little Georgia earning a loyal following both in Australia and abroad. Ashleigh and her sought after voice have vocal credits for each of Darren Middleton (Powderfinger), Dirty Honey Band (US) and most recently Ocean Alley’s respective albums.

With the intention of ending her maternity leave on a high, Ash returned to Brooklet Studios and long-time collaborator Nick DiDia to record her latest offering ‘Be Honest’, which was released on December 11th 2025 through MGM Distribution.

This 3 track EP was written amidst the beautiful mess of motherhood, sharing tender moments and raw truths.
